The best version of this, the one used in the transcription has Cisco Houston playing bass and Woody Guthrie playing guitar. Woody's sung responses to Lead Belly's vocals make for a compelling rendition. This song was one of the first that made me aware of Lead Belly's "fun" side. This is not really a blues, but the music, reminiscent of Jelly Roll Morton, can be presented in a blues manner with little change in the melody.
